SMART FINDING CHAT
Hello Google Gemini / NotebookLM team,I am a Pro user and would like to suggest a feature that would greatly improve notebook retrieval. Please add an intelligent chat-based search box that helps users find notebooks using natural language, partial memory, contextual clues, or previous notebook names.Right now, when users manage many notebooks, it becomes difficult to find a specific one if its title was changed, if the exact name is forgotten, or if the user only remembers the topic, purpose, or a related person or role. For example, this week I was trying to find a notebook related to presidential candidates, but I could not locate it because its name had been changed. It would be very helpful if users could type requests such as:- “Find the notebook where I worked on presidential candidates.”- “Show me the principal notebook for this case number.”- “Locate the notebook that used to have another name.”This feature could rely on notebook title history, content context, summaries, tags, recent activity, and natural-language understanding. As a Pro user, I believe this would save time and make NotebookLM much more useful for people handling many notebooks, especially in legal and research workflows.Thank you for considering this feature request.
